Backpage.com is an online advertising portal. It covers the United States, Canada, Caribbean and Mexico. Categories include: realty, health services, nursing, education, repairs, etc. Everyone can post free ads having chosen his/her city of residence. Advertising is not completely free. The portal allows pictures in the ads, offers upgrading possibilities (premium place, distributing within several cities). The company operates two onsite locations: Dallas and Phoenix. For better promotion and customer attraction, the company cooperates with local newspapers, newsweeklies as well as other media outlets in each area (more than 400 cities).
